Brekford Corp. (f/k/a PelicanMobile) has been awarded several contracts in the communications area. A recent contract is to serve as the State of Maryland Two-Way Radio Equipment and Services Master Contractor for multiple years. As a Master Contractor, most State government, local government agencies, and non-profit agencies can procure two-way (including mobile) radio equipment; communications consoles and associated equipment; and related installation, repair and preventive maintenance services from Brekford Corp.

The acquisition of brand or generic name equipment to include but not limited to:

1. Mobile computers/mobile data terminals associated equipment.
2. Panasonic Toughbook
3. Communications Consoles and Associated Equipment
4. Portable radios and accessories,
5. Desktop and computer aided dispatch radio communications consoles and accessories,
6. Vehicle emergency lighting equipment to include and not limited to: Light bars; Rotating beacons; Strobe lights; Arrow sticks ; Grill/head/tail lights; cage
7. Speed enforcement systems (Radar-Vascar)
8. Automatic vehicle location/monitoring devices
9. Mobile video equipment
10. Electronic (ETIX) Ticket hardware and software solution
11. Installation, Repair and Preventive Maintenance Services
12. Photo speed enforcement systems

Preventive maintenance will be performed by Brekford Corp. in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. The minimum preventive maintenance routine includes assurance that equipment is within the limits of the manufacturer's specifications, and that "wear" items have been properly serviced, tightened, lubricated, etc., as required by good technical practices and the manufacturer's recommendations. Preventive, routine and emergency repair and maintenance of fixed and mobile communications equipment ; interfaces between equipment. Determining the source of faults within an affected system which are attributable to other systems, and initiating a response to such problems through notification of the using agency. Maintenance of the equipment in the condition existing, as of the date of Notice to Proceed.
