Detection of speed by Laser or loops

Brekford’s Autostop HD detects excessive speed both during the red light phase and the green light phase. The measuring ranges from 3 to 155mph.

Ease of Use and Maintenance

The basic management can be performed by police officers or auxiliary traffic personnel.

High resolution Digital pictures (up to 15 megapixels)

Camera captures two pictures for each violation. Clear identifiable pictures of the offending vehicle (even a scooter in the third lane) are taken, showing the status of the traffic lights on crossing the stop line (or before it).

Viewing the operation on Smartphone or Tablet PC

Ability to check status of equipment and see certain operating statistics.

IR or visible light Flash

The camera can be equipped with infrared (lR) lighting device to avoid glaring the drivers.

Optional digital video camera

Equipped with a 10 second video clip that records the vehicle before and after passing the intersection. The video camera can operate in effectively in any ambient conditions.

Non intrusive connection to the traffic light

Autostop HD does not interfere with the traffic light control unit. The traffic light status is gathered through a fiber optic system.

Automatic local or remote download of data

In addition to remote data transmission, the system allows easy local download through an automated procedure storing data in encrypted format on a special USB key, so as to enable it by support staff.

Photo and video watermarking

Watermarked data, place 10, violation type, elapsed time since traffic light turned red, duration of yellow light, Vehicle speed (if higher than the set threshold), date, hour, minute, second and violation code.

Multiple detection of infraction on different lanes

For use for multiple signaled roads (up to three separate lane-roads using three red light timed lanes).

Programming the system operating times

Configurable to accommodate ON and OFF times.

Built-in Automatic Number Plate Recognition System

The LPR (OCR) system has enough resolution to allow the recognition of license plates for scooters in the third lane.
