George Scheeler

George D. Scheeler, Director of Finance and Operations

Mr. Scheeler joined Brekford as the Director of Finance and Operations in 2011. Mr. Scheeler has over 25 years of experience in Finance and Operations in fast growing organizations.

Mr. Scheeler received dual bachelor's degrees in Management and Marketing at James Madison University and has his MBA in Finance from the College of William & Mary. He has held positions at such public companies at PHH Group and Citibank and was the CFO of FTI Consulting during the company's initial public offering. Mr. Scheeler has also taught finance at the Loyola University of Maryland, Sellinger School of Business MBA program and was named as the Outstanding Adjunct Facility Member. He is also published in Trust Investments and has been cited in the Baltimore Sun.

Mr. Scheeler took over as the President and CEO of Freedom Federal where he immediately took the languishing organization to becoming the fastest growing credit union in the state by initiating a customer service improvement process that dramatically changed the level of service. The result was that Freedom was named "Harford's Best Financial Institution" for 2001 by the Harford Business Ledger.

Finalist for the Fast 50, Fast Company Magazine's contest for forward thinking, innovative organizations. As the CFO of privately held American Pest, a top-75 Pest Management company, Mr. Scheeler was oversaw a 362% increase in the bottom line while seeing revenues increase only 32%.
